A. BACKGROUND
In a remote village
around Yogyakarta there is a village called Malang CATURHARJO located in
Sleman. In this village also the Garuda Jisai University studying embryonic
life limped.
It is said that the
life of a Swordsman named offspring DEMANG DAWUK, RADEN KARMAENI who is a
descendant of DEMANG JLOPO KAREBET, who is also a descendant RADEN PANJI

B. HISTORY
1. The First embryo

martial arts.
4. The Fourth Embryo.
At the senior high

5. The
Fifth embryo

of martial arts universities with its own characteristics, such as push hard training (gemblengan)
science, and so forth. And one of them is a famous university with
knowledge of martial petition. Uniquely to learn this science must be based on
faith and trust in Almighty God and the angel, and is intended for the benefit
of life certainly gave the. That is what is taught by the end of the hunt GURU
SUGENG as the basic science of martial arts to Soekirdjo. In this fifth embryo

JISAI. Sports Silat Judo which means this is as study I and Ajian Silat Amarta Indonesia as study II.
SODO was first taught the student Regiment Yon V Yogyakarta. And
JISAl taught starting on August 4, 1970 in Jakarta. Referring to the
Constitution 45 Article 32 and the principle of Pancasila, the martial arts
college named PS GARUDA JISAI on August 4, 1970. And founder of this college
are Drs. FX. Soekirdjo H.S. The ranks of coaches who have been certified are
SERGEANT MAJOR MASIMAN (1970), MAJOR IRHAS (1971), MAJOR GENERAL DRS. ISMONO ISMAKUN (1975), ADMIRAL SOENARDI (1992), and
MAJOR GENERAL DRS. I.K. RATTA (1993). Both of the latter is Admiral General
Soenardi and Major General Drs. I.K. Ratta is the coach and the life support mentally, morally,
spiritually that is trusted by the Garuda Jisai at this time.
C. PEOPLE WHO HAVE RENDERED IN HISTORY OF PS GARUDA
JISAI
1. SERGEANT MAJOR MASIMAN who had given permit to use the first training
facility in SANGIDU TRIKORA Street Halim
PK.
2. MAJOR PANJI WIRANATA Who had provided the inspiration for the
naming of Garuda Jisai and also has gym facilities in the building Garuda Halim
PK.
3. COLONEL NURPRAPTO who had given permit to use gym in the Wirayuda Putra Building.
4. MARSHAL SOEWOTO SUKENDAR (Air Force Chief) who had given permit to use radio facilities Halim PK Air Force and as a teenager Trustees.
5. MAS RADEN HARUN HARASID (Technical Advisor to the Ministry of
Education and Culture)
